Cambridge diet ramblings: todays the day the teddy bears have their picnic! …
Ok so maybe not quite a picnic but hey we can all dream!
So I wanted to say thankyou for all your messages of support, without you I really would have fallen off the bandwagon!!! … Mind you I must also thank my OH and also CD lady Julie, both are absolutely fabulous!
So thursday I started on the Cambridge Diet 1200 calories, well I say thursday it was thursday afternoon, basically I can have breakfast, lunch, tea, 2 x CD meals and 1/2 pint of skimmed milk! I have to admit I feel so much better by being on it even though I feel like a complete failure for not managing the sole source!!
Soooo thought I would come on and share a couple of pictures, … typical breakfast consists of various fuit, all weighed and measured to make 150 calories worth … I struggle to eat this much in one meal but it is so nice!!
See what I mean about a huge bowl full??
Then for lunch I have been eating tuna filled pitta with sweetcorn (forgot to take pictures the last 3 days!!! ) absolutely loads of tuna (1 full tin) yet I am still coming in under my limit of calories!! I will generally wash this down with a CD shake of a various flavour!
Then for the last 2 nights I have had prawn stir fry and rice which is only around 300 calories, all made from fresh ingredients and its bloomin yummy!! now if anyone knows me then you know I absolutely love rice and could quite happily just eat a bowlful of rice on its own!! so seeing this tiny 30g amount I was quite dissapointed, but then I came round to the thinking that actually I wasn’t having any rice before, so some rice is better than no rice and now I am cool with it!!
Makes quite a plateful!! I am well and truly stuffed after this, but I still have milk and 1 x CD meal to go … so a cup of warm milk before bed to wash down the many pills and some (CD) Choccy and I am sorted!!
Paul and I have been shopping today for more food, I have meals of various sorts from weight watchers, to tescos finest meals, all under 300 calories for my tea, every single item of food which has either been picked up or added to the trolley has been scrutinised to check if under or over the alloted calories and Paul is going to help me make a meal plan for this week to keep me on track and give me some variety!
Then last but not least …….
Yesterday was the dreaded WEIGH DAY!! ….. I was sure I was going to be gutted with my weight loss this week ….. but both Paul and I lost 3.¾ llbs he doesnt seem happy with his loss, but me? I am over the bloomin moon!! … roll on next week!
sooooo just to update total loss for us both ….
Paul – 4 stone 2 ½ llb in 8 weeks 4 days
Me – 2 stone 2 ¾ llb in 4 weeks 4 days
Hope you all have a fab weekend!
